Are pea's finished before raspberry's fully start?

looking at my line of raspberry canes today, i wondered if i could use them to support my first lot of pea's, anyone know if this is possible or do they start shooting before the pea's are finished?
(pea's are early onward so first lot will probably be finished by may time)

For a good crop both are hungry plants and need to be treated as such.

...and when your peas were finished you'd be pulling the spent plants out from the prickly raspberry canes, ripping off leaves, fruits & bits of finger
