Right you clever lot, can you help me with three clues in a quiz.
All the answers begin or end with the sound 'LOO'

A peak near Denver, Colorado         7.8

Unusual nail cut           7

The 'Girls in Blue' who performed from 1936 -1976       5,5,5

The quiz is to raise money for toilets at a church!!

Sorry I haven't a cLUE. ;D
Smile, it confuses people.

macmac

I found the  anagram for unusual nailcut -- lunatic
I found a ref to the girls inblue..as donald ducks girlfriends nieces but they're April,May and June so the number of letters don't tally
And the rocky mountains are by Denver but all i've probably done is confused the issue ??? ??? ::)
sanity is overated

Not confident of these answers but nothing ventured as they say;

A peak near Denver, Colorado         7.8

Annies Mountain

Unusual nail cut           7

Scratch if finger nail

Masonry if fixing type

Borlotti

Think lunatic is right  (sounds like loo)
and think Luton Girls Choir is good
think probably second word is Mountain and first word starts or ends with the sound loo.
Some of you are clever, not me.  Let me know the answers.

San Luis Peak was my first thought, but obviously the number of letters doesn't fit.  ::) If you have the time to trawl, here is a farly comprehensive list of the peaks in the area.

They probably need toilets at your church because the questions are too hard and no-one can answer them.  ;D ;D or the service is too long.
