Mixed Border

Cotoneasters

Dendronmecon

Enjoy

Wonderfull!  :)

My Fuschias are still doing well too, particularly the hardy ones.

What types are yours?

Jill

Lovely, Jerry.  (Where's that 'green with envy' smilie when you need it?)  Particularly liked the hebe: what variety?

The first two are hardy bush fuchsias that have been in the garden for a number of years. Both get to about 3 foot tall.  The first one is “Brutus” . I think the second one is “Display”.

The third one is a pot grown small bush, it is not fully hardy and will get moved into the greenhouse at some point. I think it is “Ton Thumb” but not sure.

The Hebe is "Marjory", planted about 6 years ago, flowers from spring right through to now and is about 4 foot wide and 3 high now. The insects love it.

Thanks Jerry. I thought the top one looked a bit like a 'Brutus', but without knowing if it was hardy or not couldnt be sure. I have Brutus in my garden too, but it doesnt reach 3' though.

I thought 'Tom Thumb' was a hardy type. Not 100% sure mind.

Richard

I think Tom Thumb could be hardy, put as it is pot grown and on the north side of the house it is in a very cold spot. Moving it in the winter gives it a better chance.

I must remember to take some cuttings of these in the spring as I have a spot or two I could fill with one.
